Two great friends of mine are getting married tomorrow, and the groomsmen got together to rehearse our reception welcoming entrance… absolutely gold! It took some practice, but most of us got it down… or do we? LOL! Fun will be had tomorrow, and look forward to posting the images and video of the aftermath!

Stef + Eric – {E-Session}

Stef and Eric are one of the most generous and sweetest couples I’ve met, I just wanted to chat the whole time! We’ve known Stef and Eric for quite some time, so this engagement shoot was much anticipated. We started off the day in Mississauga at one of their favourite restaurants! I have to admit, I’ve never had a burrito so good in my life, so look up Burrito Boyz at Hurontario and Lakeshore! We then headed to Evergreen Brickworks, a stroll through downtown Toronto and finished up a fun session at Sunnyside Park. Their puppy love can’t be explained in words, so the photographs below are the best way to illustrate how they feel!

Chris + Serena – {MARRIED!}

It’s catch-up time! I’ve got a little time off in August to catch-up on sharing the weddings of 2010, but quite honestly, I should be packing and making preparations to move to my new home in 10 days!

Chris and Serena are such an adorable couple, it was easy to tell how excited they were to be wed, and what a genuine bond these two have. Their day was simply beautiful. Despite the periodic rain drizzles, it was so fun to dodge the rain – felt like nothing could stop us from catching all the moments. Here are images that illustrate what beautiful day it was on June 26, 2010:

Cinema

Just added a new category for my new “cinematography” curiosity. As most of my couples know, the Canon equipment we use is not only for industry-leading still image quality, but 1080p HD video as well! We’ve always consciously focused on still photography as your specialty, but it’s hard to ignore the HD capabilities of our gear. We are going to experiment with cinematography over the next 1.5 years to evaluate its feasibility as a new product for our couples.

We are going to experiment with the Canon 5D Mark II. This camera is the leader in DSLR 1080p recording. Unlike it’s little brother the Canon 7D, the video quality is much sharper, has richer colors, and a full-frame sensor to maximize the entire Canon lens lineup (yes, true 15mm Fisheye!). Please check back to see some of our crazy experiments, we hope to have samples to share later this fall.

Lisa + Derrick – {MARRIED!}

Wow, what a fun day it was! Lisa and Derrick tied the knot back on June 19, 2010, and a very unique couple indeed… I caught Lisa BBM’ing with Derrick in the morning, exchanging kind words and sharing their feelings “at the moment.” Lisa and Derrick had no hesitation in showing how much they love each other, except for that one moment during the ceremony hee hee Congratulations to you both!

Carm’s matron of honour Denise didn’t like how her pics turned out for her and Albert’s wedding with another studio, and was tempted to have you do another photo shoot with them. We of course will try our best to pull for you!
