Just added a new category for my new “cinematography” curiosity. As most of my couples know, the Canon equipment we use is not only for industry-leading still image quality, but 1080p HD video as well! We’ve always consciously focused on still photography as your specialty, but it’s hard to ignore the HD capabilities of our gear. We are going to experiment with cinematography over the next 1.5 years to evaluate its feasibility as a new product for our couples.
We are going to experiment with the Canon 5D Mark II. This camera is the leader in DSLR 1080p recording. Unlike it’s little brother the Canon 7D, the video quality is much sharper, has richer colors, and a full-frame sensor to maximize the entire Canon lens lineup (yes, true 15mm Fisheye!).
